Paint protection & ceramic
What is ceramic paint protection, and do I need it?
It is a high-gloss, permanently bonding nano-ceramic coating. Unlike wax or a sealant, which sit on the surface and wear away, it forms a permanent bond with your paint. That gives you strong chemical resistance, UV and thermal resistance so the colour does not fade, and a surface water beads off and rolls straight from. It protects against environmental contaminants and harsh chemicals, and once it is on you do not need to wax or polish again. It is worth it if you want to keep the car looking new with less effort, or you want to protect its resale value.
If it is that good, why do car manufacturers not apply it at the factory?
Cars are sold into very different climates, so there is no single coating a factory could apply that suits every market, and doing it properly per vehicle is expensive at production scale. Fleet buyers also tend to turn cars over every couple of years, so they opt out. It is a job better done locally, once the car is yours.
What is hybrid ceramic?
Hybrid ceramic combines ceramic technology with amino-functional polymers, forming a microscopic protective lattice across the paint. The result is a glossy surface with enriched colour depth, better durability, and strong resistance to chemicals, weather and UV.
Why does my car need polishing?
Polishing removes the fine surface defects that make paint look dull, and it slows down paint ageing. Keeping on top of it protects how the car presents and helps hold its resale value.
Why would I choose paint protection over regular waxing?
Because it ends the cycle. Waxing and polishing has to be repeated constantly, and it does not stop watermarks. Paint protection restores the gloss and then holds it, with far less ongoing work, and it comes with a warranty.
Do you offer full protection packages like the dealerships?
Yes, and they are comparable to what a dealership will sell you, without the dealership overheads built into the price. Give us a call and we will talk through what actually suits your car.
Our services
Can you remove scratches from my paint?
Hairline and fine surface scratches come out with a cut and polish. Deeper damage that has gone through the clear coat needs to be assessed in person, and we may recommend a paint touch-up instead. Send us a photo or drop in and we will tell you honestly what can be done.
Do you do cut and polish?
Yes. It is one of the things we do most. It is the right treatment when paintwork has gone dull, or is covered in swirl marks and fine scratches, and you want the gloss back.
Do you do presale detailing?
Yes, and it is one of the best-value things you can do before listing a car. Our Premium Gold package is built for exactly this, and a well-presented car reliably attracts better offers.
Can you clean and restore leather?
Yes. We clean and condition leather, which lifts the ingrained dirt and keeps the hide supple so it does not dry out and crack.
Do you clean upholstery and carpets?
Yes — upholstery cleaning, deep vacuuming, carpet shampooing and stain removal. It is included in the Premium Gold package and can be added to any other detail.
Can you restore dull, yellowed headlights?
Yes. Headlight restoration clears the hazing and yellowing that builds up with age and UV exposure. It sharpens how the front of the car looks and genuinely improves how well you see at night.
Can stone chips be repaired?
Usually, yes. We need to look at the depth and spread of the damage first. In most cases we can treat them, with paint touch-ups where they are needed.
Have you worked on vintage and luxury cars?
Yes, regularly. Vintage and luxury vehicles get the same care as everything else, which in practice means more time and a gentler approach. Have a look at our work, and ask us about anything specific to your car.
Can you sanitise and deodorise the interior?
Yes. We use a complimentary disinfectant on the interior of every detail we do. We can also do a thorough air conditioning system clean, which sanitises and deodorises the system, kills off the bacteria living in it, and clears the musty smell that comes with them.
